We often get told we are hard to find. But we love that.. once you are down at the club you feel like all the chaos of life leaves your body.
Come along to our Open Day and discover what being part of our beach community is all about.
We’re a family-focused club where children, teens and adults can build confidence in and around the water, learn lifesaving skills, make friends and get involved in the community.
Nippers program for ages 5–13
Our popular Nippers program for ages 5–13 introduces children to water safety, surf skills, first aid and teamwork in a fun, supportive environment, while older members can progress into youth leadership, patrolling, rescue training and lifesaving qualifications.
Whether you’re interested in Nippers, beach activities, patrol, training or simply meeting new people and being part of a welcoming local club, come down, meet us and find your place at BLSC.
Youth Salties program for ages 13-17
Building Lifesavers – Shaping Leaders. A youth-led program designed for 13-17 year olds.
A low-pressure environment where young people can be active, build friendships, develop confidence, and see themselves as valued members of our club and the wider local community.
Blends beach activities with wellbeing, social connection and micro-leadership opportunities.
No pressure, assessments or expectations. A program to nurture a sense of belonging, capability and enjoying being part of something meaningful.
8 week program across 4 areas; Surf & Sand, Mind & Mentor, Crew & Connect and Social & Community
